If you are happy to take part in the research the screening process has two parts:
> Part 1 is when your suitability for the study is checked and you have the opportunity to ask questions. This can be conducted remotely via a Microsoft team meeting.
> Part 2: Will be held at the Department of Psychiatry in the Warneford Hospital, Oxford. If you are eligible for the study, you will then complete some baseline questionnaires and computer tasks. You will then receive 7 days of medication to take home with you - either prucalopride (a licenced drug) or placebo
During the study at home:
> You will receive text reminders to help you remember to take the medication at roughly the same time each day.
> The team will also check in with you twice, to ensure all is well with the medication
Study visit
> You will be asked to come back to the Warneford Hospital after taking the study medication. During this visit you be asked to complete further questionnaires and computer tasks.
You will receive £125 in total for completing the study. We will also reimburse any travel expenses
